A project in the heart of Presidio Heights, a prime neighborhood in San Francisco, the existing building contained two flats on 2nd and third levels. The building also had an unutilized lower 'basement' level with full height and an attic with a very usable area. The building was reconceived as a 3-story new residence with an elevator and a smaller unit at the bottom level.

The top level was planned as a family area with a south-facing deck along with two bedrooms on the 3rd level.
