This project was fun to work with mainly because we were challenged to find more square footage within the envelope. It had a full height attic which, with some gymnastics, lent itself to unusually versatile spaces at different levels, creating playful alcoves and areas that could be used in multiple ways.

The lower level laid itself out more naturally although we took out several walls to open up the living areas and visually connect all public spaces.
