SAN FRANCISCO

1246 MASONIC AVE

This victorian in Haight Ashbury neighborhood containing two separate units on the ground and second level was crying out for help. Basement and a full floor attic remained un occupied and unused. The structure had been in a very poor shape due to years of neglect and an unutilized basement area which offered a huge potential.

It was to remain a two unit building so the approach was to convert the upper 3 levels back to a glorious mansion and craeting a unit below behind a newly conceived garage accessed through the 'curved' garage doors.

The mansion was then fully reconfigured with truly dramatically proportioned rrooms as well as an attic allowing several play area/ bedroom combinations. The building was structurally reinforced to bring it up to the current codes.
