This speculative project is a pair of stacked townhouses on a typical narrow City lot in San Francisco. One of the main goals was to give each unit a distinct identity though they both emerge from the same footprint. Lower unit, more introspective of the two, occupies the first two levels entered on the 2nd floor. A gently curving wall with an opening separates it from the living area before undulating down the hall to the sleeping areas Tucked behind the garage at the lower level are the family areas with a pair of french doors opening on to a garden.

The upper unit is more assertive and dramatic. The curved wall separates the two-level living area. The floor to ceiling Bay window reappears with a prismatic volume intersecting with the window below creating a small peek-a-boo deck. Upstairs facing the entertainment room is master bedromm suite and wood deck

The common interior stairs lead to the roof ceck with a spectacular view of the City and the Bay.
